Wooden Alphadots

A set of 26 wooden alphadots made from smooth beech wood. From A-Z, each set contains wooden discs engraved with your choice of letter design on one side (uppercase, lowercase or both) and an image matching the letter sound on the other.

Each alphadot measures 5cm in diameter and approximately 0.5cm in thickness making them ideal for little hands. All images used to represent the letters are phonetically connected too, making them the perfect educational tool (please note that if you choose to add any additional letters, these may not be phonemes.)

Our alphadots can be used to help recognise letter shapes, learn letter sounds and aid in hand-eye co-ordination when used for stacking into a tower. They can be used to spell out words and names, go on a treasure hunt or spotting adventure. They can even be used to create paper rubbings as the letters and images are engraved deeply enough to create an image through the paper.

Each set comes in its own natural cotton drawstring bag.

You can also choose to add extra letters if you want to be able to spell names with double letters. Any additional letters will have a different illustration to the original set of 26. For example, A is for Acorn, B is for Balloon etc... This only applies to extra additional letters to the standard set. Please note that purchasing a second set of alphadots in the same order will still contain the same 26 images and not be a different set of images.

The engraving colour may vary from disc to disc due to the colour of the natural wood grain and some images may appear lighter or darker than one another.
